We built Summer Heights primarily to accommodate guests prior to their cruise on our yacht Endless Summer II. And since we've lived in the British Virgin Islands for almost 30 years, it was with insight and experience that we carefully chose where to build. We definitely wanted to be on the island of Tortola for it’s shops, restaurants, ferries, airport and the 'happening' events. Of course, Anegada, Virgin Gorda and Jost Van Dyke are just an easy daytrip away. The north side of the island has the best beaches but also the most rain. We chose to avoid the mosquitoes, mildew and sand flies and accept the 12 minute ride to the beach. In fact from Havers everywhere on the island is so easily accessible.
